Bill practices in the areas of taxation, exempt organizations, trusts and estates, wills, probate, family succession planning, business, and mergers and acquisitions law. Bill has extensive experience representing clients in income, estate and gift tax matters before the Internal Revenue Service and in the federal courts. His representative clients include individuals, charitable organizations, entrepreneurs and closely held businesses. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Claims Court, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and Kansas state courts.

Bill is a Certified Public Accountant and began his professional career with a regional accounting firm. He is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs, Kansas Society of CPAs and the Wichita Society of CPAs.

Bill lectures on tax and related topics to professional and various other organizations. Bill is listed in The Best Lawyers in America.
