Scott practices in the areas of real estate, finance, environmental, bankruptcy, business, and mergers and acquisitions law. He began his professional career as a law clerk to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge in Charlotte, North Carolina. With extensive experience in real estate and finance matters, Scott regularly counsels clients on business transactions. Scott also represents clients in civil matters in federal and state courts. His representative clients include individuals, banks and other financial institutions, developers and closely held businesses.
He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, and Kansas state courts.
Scott also lectures on real estate and related topics to professional and various other organizations.
