Charlie practices in the areas of taxation, trusts and estates, wills, probate, and business law.

He represents clients in tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service and in the federal courts.

His representative clients include individuals and closely held businesses.

He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and Kansas state courts and the state courts of Texas.

During law school, Charlie received American Jurisprudence Awards in Corporate Taxation, Wills and Estates, and Federal Income Tax of Individuals II. He also studied International Law at Cambridge University, Cambridge, UK. He served as Research Assistant to Professor Donna Davis, Associate Tax Professor at the University of Mississippi.
